The work includes charts, graphs and horoscopes and explanation of some of the techniques used for astro-financial forecasting.
In Exploring the Financial Universe, financial astrologer Christeen Skinner covers solar rhythms and the intricacies of commodity, property and currency price movements with planet cycles. The role of the planets in mastering the relationship between time and price is considered. There is a chapter on the natal horoscope and financial rhythms set from birth. The book concludes with forecasts covering 2017-2024.
Introduction:
Exploring the Financial Universe begins by considering solar activity and the influence of solar rhythms on trading. That chapter is followed by a review of the astrology of the Global Financial Crisis that was centered on 2008 but which is, I think, as yet unfinished. My reasoning is based on a study of stock market crashes of the 20th century as shown in Chapter Three. As will be seen, there are similar formations in the years ahead and high probability of further financial debacle as Pluto travels through Capricorn.
Many people are intrigued by the possibility of making spectacular financial gain through using astrological techniques. In Chapter Four, examples of days of major gains and major losses are given. There does indeed seem to be correlation with planetary activity. The chapter concludes with a list of aspects and planet positions to look out for. This list should be ofvalue to both investors and traders.
Chapter Five considers the links between planet positions and recessions, the construction and land price cycles, and the real estate market. Foreign exchange is given attention in Chapter Six which covers the Euro, the US dollar, and a brief look at one of the newest currencies, Bitcoin. Chapter Seven covers the links between planetary cycles and a few commodities: including gold, silver, platinum, cotton, corn, and sugar.
Chapter Fight covers Time and Price and considers the links between actual share price and planet positions. As with foreign exchange and commodities, I hope to develop this chapter into a book of its own. For now, examples used include Google, Walmart, and General Motors. Chapter Nine, entitled “Your Own Chart” would have been excluded from this work, were it not for the interest shown by readers of the Full Moon letter who take the time to email, responding to comments made about personal finance. In time I suspect that this chapter too will become a book in its own right. For now, it includes various astrological techniques which have served me well in my work. The penultimate chapter of this work offer first an overview of the coming years, followed by a more detailed look at 2018-2020 with key dates.

Though I have had this book for only a couple of days, I get the impression that it is a first-rate astrological guide to investing, based on past conditions and crisis and conditions to come, from now until 2024. And it seems significantly less technical than earlier tomes in financial astrology.

This is a fantastically useful book. I’m still at the dipping into it stage and already it’s thrown up light on location for possible property purchases and timing for possible future shock events. The history of past financial events is detailed and also possible future events and timings. For the personally interested reader, it gives additional information on your own wealth potential. For professional astrologers and investors it is a wealth of interesting and pertinent information. It’s a highly readable and informative book. Frankly a bedside must. A nice combination of being both accessible and yet highly researched.
