Trading FullCircle, Written by the charismatic Jea Yu, founder of UndergroundTrader.com reveals how that trading superstar did it and how you can too. Offering rare insight into the mind of a true market wizard, it shares his first-hand knowledge of the markets, acquired through thousands of hours of successful (and unsuccessful) trading. Never before has a master outlined, in such detail, the evolution of his system, nor provided such a wealth of practical guidance on how to adapt it to your trading style.
Author’s Note:
With the double whammy of the bear claws and decimalization, day traders disappeared like the dinosaurs, as did numerous market making firms. The ECNs took reign, notably ARCA, ISLD, and INCA. Then 9/11 happened when markets were already weak. The war in Afghanistan kicked off a market rally that nearly doubled the Dow. Hedge funds became the hottest worst kept secret, making the rich richer, especially the big brokers catering to these leviathans through their prime broker services. Program trading volumes skyrocketed as black box, gray box, and algorithm trading grabbed chunks of liquidity. Dark pools have gotten larger, dealing only with institutional clientele. Goldman Sachs is making billions with their black box programs capturing spreads, liquidity, and flash quotes. What about the balanced playing field and transparency? Never. The game is to find transparency before it becomes too transparent. Limit exposing your flaws while trying to exploit the market’s.
Everything in this book is first-hand knowledge, revealed as a result of thousands of hours of market participation. If anything, it will save you the ten years I spent to complete the trading system. I have found that rarity in and of itself determines value. Demand usually follows. Build it-and hold out long enough-and they will come. Every thought and word in this book has been meticulously handcrafted through blood, sweat, tears, and broken keyboards.
It is the culmination of a journey and all its lessons. As much as this book is about the markets, it goes much deeper. It started with the markets and manifested into life epiphanies. You mean the markets are correlated with life? Believe me, it’s true, it’s true! That is what the journey is about; finding the truth, tasting the essence, and bathing in the enlightenment.

If you are trading, this book is a must have. The set-ups, the indicators, the markets, it is all here. Best of all is the first couple chapters on the mindset of a trader. Just those pages alone were nothing short of an epiphany. If you are worried about the price, you shouldn’t be trading.

Just a bunch printed words without much insight in connection with trading. Most of it was common knowledge. Waste of money. Sold my book.

Trading Full Circle is a must read for anyone that has the desire to learn and succeed in day trading. With clear examples and charts of each setup, I found the book easy to read and understand. Jea has been through all the ups and down of the markets over the past decade and can relate to every traders experience. It’s great to learn from someone that wants you to succeed as much as you do. I recently joined the underground trader, and it’s been an amazing experience to be in the pit with Jea and the other traders. A true community of traders. More importantly, having Jea by your side while trading is priceless.

The first 1/3 of the book was promising, quite different than how other Trading books are written, but then he lost me when it got into actual setups which were nothing special. People who haven’t read his previous book will be lost until he finally explains what his setups are. I probably won’t finish it.

I’m sure he’s a great trader but I never really got into this book. I guess I’m past the trying to learn new systems phase and into the psychology stage. I’d recommend for people still researching new methodologies. The appendix by puretick.com was great though!!

BUY THIS BOOK!!! Don’t waste any more of your money on fluff-filled garbage! I read this book today. After I read it, I immediately pulled up some FOREX charts and saw the massive potential this book has to create enormous amounts of wealth. Jea’s approach to the markets is nothing short of genius. This book will change your life forever. Read it, apply it, and profit. After reading this masterpiece, I’m done searching for an answer to consistent profitability. Hats off to Jea Yu! What a great book!

This book is poorly written and unoriginal. Filled with cliches and very anecdotal. However, I did find Yu’s ebook on swing trading far better and more concise. For day trading concepts and methodologies I would suggest material from such authors as David Nassar, John L. Person, or Jake Bernstein.

Despite years in the market I had never heard of the Underground Trader or Jea Yu before buying this book. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. It is written by somebody that has clearly been in the trading trenches. Trading Full Circle is packed with information from cover to cover. You get the feeling that the author is not holding anything back. The book is mostly about day trading but the basic methodology can be applied to all time frames.
Although well written, it’s not always an easy book to digest. Even with my experience I found that I had to read and reread some sections to understand what was going on. It would be tough read for beginners but the first two chapters (Starting with Failure and What is the “Edge”) should be a must read for all traders. If you are a beginner and can get through the book and truly understand what Yu is saying, the book it will save you many headaches and many dollars.
The one criticism I would have is that Yu uses terminology early in the book that means nothing unless you are familiar with the terminology of his system. I kept hearing the term “Pup’s”. I finally had to stop my reading and study the section later in the book to understand what “Pup’s” and some other terminology are. To Yu’s credit, he does provide a Glossary in the back.
The general methodology of the UndergroundTrader System isn’t unique but the way the methodology is used and the detail given in the book makes “Trading Full Circle” a top tier trading book. Also, don’t miss the three Appendix sections in the back of the book. All are excellent. One is written by Suri Duddella, whom I’ve heard speak. He’s one of the top experts in pattern trading.
“Trading Full Circle” is not cheap but clearly in this case, you get more than what you pay for.
