Lukas Zavala (verified owner) –
There are lots of ideas in this book. But none of them (in my opinion) are described in sufficient depth in order to be able to put them to work. I would prefer a few really good ideas described at greater depth and finally put together into a master plan or strategy so you can profit from them in different market conditions. I only really bought this book because the author has been flogging to death his System X and I wanted to find out more about them man behind it. I found it disappointing considering his opinion in the markets is so sought after.
Aspyn Andrews (verified owner) –
Not a bad read, however, a word of caution to carefully check each formula quoted in the book. Early on, the author quotes a formula that “should have been the title of the book” (sounds quite important) but gets the formula wrong – he quotes (twice):
x = (p – er)/s
but it should be:
x = p – (er/s)
Strangely, the author gets the formula right in his previous book “Investing Unplugged”, so it’s probably a publishing error, still glaring though.
On the plus side, the book appears to be a source of good ideas and tips from what I have read so far.
