With Mastering Elliott Wave Principle you are guided step-by-step through the learning phases of Elliott Wave analysis and then your understanding is further challenged through self-examination. The preliminary coaching unravels common misunderstandings that sabotage the beginner.
Introduction:
By convention, most Elliott Wave Principle (EWP) practitioners focus on individual market price movement. Connie Brown has a global reputation of developing analysis that focuses on the integration of global markets. In a two book series you will be taken through the steps to master the global cash flows of today’s financial markets. The approach found in this first book differs from the traditional view of EWP because it shows you how geometry and the use of simple boxes drawn within a trend will guide you away from the common complaint of subjectivity, thereby making smarter trades of higher probability. While EWP can be a challenging topic, the structure of this book eases you into the analysis principles.
You will discover how price swings and waves are not the same. Elements of balance and proportion are mathematical concepts taught through geometry and not subjective. These basic skills establish a foundation that allow beginners to understand what to expect from their level of skill. There are three distinct levels of skill that all masters of the EWP have learned. Now there is a series to guide your understanding at each skill level so you can develop a working knowledge of how to define market positions around the world in short or long term time horizons. Bring your biases, bring your past concerns and discover how this breakthrough and original approach to teaching the Wave Principle can help you.
- Traders, from beginners to advanced, can use this book to become proficient in the Elliott Wave Principle
- Contains practice charts to compare your understanding and skill level with follow-up discussions of how you may have differed based on the results from twenty years of coaching

Easy to understand. In my opinion it’s a great addition for those using Elliot wave principles.

Great book to understand elliotwaves. Basically the book start from chapter 2. It is well understandable. if you want to learn about elliotwavs, do not only read this book. You can go to Youtube and type elliotwave patterns to learn more about elliotwaves. good luck.

This book is too much for my meager mind. I understand the basic concept of the wave and the 5/3 pattern but then there is the “well perhaps if it doesn’t do this or that or the other”. The multitudinous alternative options are absolutely mind blowing.

I like the way the book is written you get explanation then exercise then a test and you found the biggest takeaways appear in each of those phases , the writer did a great job can’t wait for the advanced one .

Very helpful tips of applying EWP instead of just talking about theory. However the book requires some basic understanding of EWP or other technical analysis skills in order to follow up the content well.

While I will admit that the content of this book is decent (no other book quite tells you how to go from the messy market charts to getting a wave count). This book becomes the ultimate bait-and-switch. She doesn’t talk about the complex patterns that you see so often in the Forex markets and says that you will have to wait for the second book, but when you go to her web site to see what is going on with the second book, instead you are presented with courses that cost hundreds of dollars to learn the advanced topics. Apparently the second book on advanced Elliott Waves is a dead project. The preview to the Advanced Elliott Waves states that it was supposed to be published in 2015, but never materialized.

This book is exactly a typical Constance Brown book well thought, organized and innovative. I am a novice elliot wave student and was waiting for this book to come out since 6 months. This book is not a typical elliot wave book where author lays down the rules and all the description of the waves and then you get so lost in reading so much detail about the personality of wave and the rules that you actually forget to apply it practically. The author has introduced the concept by first teaching how to distinguish between price swings and waves which actually are different than most of us think. This is followed by explanation of effects of balance and proportion in the markets and how it can be used to identify elliot wave counts with her new approach. Then the author explains impulse waves and basic corrective patterns seen in the markets. After introducing new concept the author tries to actually test to see if the reader had understood before going forward with next topic. The amazing thing is that she has probably taught so many students that she actually knows where a elliot wave student would make mistakes and she points out every time she can. Also the author has shown the elliot wave counts for different time frames which actually helps to visualize in real time how to form a perspective when counting the waves. One of the main questions that I had was about which chart type to use and how to figure out if your count is right both of which have been answered. As the author said this book by itself will not help the reader become a master in elliot wave counting so will be waiting for the part 2 of the this series.

Among 3 Elliott wave books recommended by stock chart, it is the worst. Not systematic and too subjective, waste of time

Anything Constance Brown writes is worth reading IMHO. I have learnt from all the books of hers that I have read and thoroughly recommend this and her other titles to any technical analyst no matter how experienced.

This book works well. I’m very interested in her followup book. Can you tell me where I can find her second book on the “WAVE”?

When it comes to elliottwave analysis Prechter book used to be the only reference for it. The problem is you won’t find any other book that actually follow Robert Prechter Rules ( Eliottwave Rules ) in any other published books. Different technical people started tweaking and playing around as each one see it fit, which is not Elliottwave ! The major problem in Robert Prechter book is not really designed to take you step by step and how to do it in real life, you will defiantly have to get a copy from it though but when it comes to practicing elliottwave its completely something else. I had to read the book five times and subscribe to elliottwave newsletters just to understand how to actually do it. And I didn’t want to buy any other elliottwave books simply because I didn’t want to learn other RULES I wanted to learn from the source of the theory itself not from someone else played with it.

This book is not not a test book as any privious Constance Brown books. It is not the book for begginers. After reading you will not became prificient. What is important this book chalanges your intellect and show to you different view and prospective. What could be learn is depend on you. The book only gaves oppportunity to learn. We should be thanksful to the author for each hint she gave to us.

EWP simplified! A lot of concepts clarified although lacking in depth for beginning to learn EWP. I think that this book is a must for anyone who has previously studied EWP and is looking to refine the wave counts is confusing areas. The tests at the end ensure that you do grasp the concepts clearly.
