Fibonacci Trading provides a one-stop resource of reliable tools and clear explanations for both identifying and taking advantage of the trade setups naturally occurring in the markets that will enable you to reach the highest rate of profitable trades. Inside, you’ll find a unique trading methodology based on Fibonacci ratios, and the author’s personal experience analyzing and setting up the markets in real time, which makes this practical volume invaluable to the self-directed investor.
Author’s Introduction:
My purpose in writing this book is to give you an introduction to the fascinating world of Fibonacci. It is also to provide you with a very specific trading methodology that can be added to your current list of strategies. For me, this method has continued to identify key trading opportunities in the markets since 1989, and it has never failed me. Chapter 1 will introduce you to the Fibonacci numbers and the Golden Ratio—the backbone of this methodology. Chapters 2 through 9 will take you through the steps of using Fibonacci on the price axis of the market, including the trade setups that are created with this work (These are the trade setups that I provide for my clients every day in my live chat room.)
Chapters 10 to 13 explain how to apply Fibonacci to the time axis of the market and then combine this with the price work to find the highestprobability trade setups. Chapters 14 to 16 will help you fine-tune your market entries, ending with an example of a trade setup from analysis to entry. Last but not least, Chapter 17 focuses on trading psychology, discipline, money management, and the importance of having a written trading plan. (The proper psychology will allow you to implement your trading plan, with the discipline to follow the plan along with proper money management techniques.)

This book will give you some amazing knowledge, and will help improve your trading.

I like the way she teaches you about Fibonacci and how to chart it on your platform! The thing that I hate is that she doesn’t show you how to find winning trades she finds!

Book was as expected, excellent contents.

Thanks for laying out a concise and actionable text on Fibonacci analysis for trading. Looking forward to getting to my station and doing some back testing with what I have learned.

Great ways to use fibonacci, except (minor issue) you have to keep turning back the page to reread what is in the illustration. All in all lots of information and I certainly learned new things with fibonacci retracements, extensions, projections, and time extensions. The only issue I have, is that those fibonacci clusters really clutters your chart!

Read this book. Then re-read this book a second time. After you have re-read this book a third time, then write a “tentative” trading plan. Paper trade this plan, and then keep revising this plan until you are consistently profitable paper trading in a simulated trading account, which is available to you from your trading broker. Then try trading real money. If you lose more than 10% of your trading capital in any 30 day period, start this process all over again. Along your journey to becoming a profitable trader, you will also need to learn about Fibonacci numbers, money management, the psychology of trading, and the self discipline you will need to become a successful trader. This is a great book!

This book is complicated and sometimes seems out of focus but it is a great book.

Great way to have an edge on the stock market.

I wanted more guidance in how to actually draw the fib retracements and extensions, especially in TOS.

I thought i knew about fibonacci but this book prove me wrong. Fibo is a really useful tool and this book shows you how to use it effectively to make profits from the markets.

TLDR: great read and advice. Buy between 50-61.8% retracements. Gold zone! Thank you author

I ignored bad reviews looking to learn more about fibonacci. From the start author illudes to not needing to understand the math and made me wonder if the fibonacci queen even understood the math beyond the overpriced website she was obviously trying to sell. The explanations were poor or non-existent. I kept finding myself reaching out to other sources to gain a better understanding of the subject. If you just want to see charts you wont be disappointed.

The theory was excellent and the examples are good real world examples. Some of the technical aspects are specific to Boroden’s proprietary software, but, in retrospect, that was probably to be expected. Nonetheless, her writing style is down to earth making it an excellent read for anyone getting started with using Fibonacci sequences in trading.

There are so many useful examples presented in this books! A very practical hand on guide for everyone wishing to master this subject.

One of the worst book ever written. You don’t need a 300 page to learn Fibonacci. Doubt if the author has even traded or just provides trade ideas.

Compared to most trading books, this one is great, easy to read, and includes tons of examples. It is a very thorough book that provides all of the basic and principles without becoming history and statistic heavy like most texts. It was interesting to read the story of Fibonacci trading develop along the way adding pieces to the puzzle with each chapter. I do wish there were more examples of specifically how to perform many of the tests and analysis, but that’s what the website and trading community are for. It would be difficult to explain with works something that would take 5 seconds to explain by showing. This boot has so many examples that it will serve as a great reference book once you have read it the first time.

Some good content. Regular candle sticks would make it better. There’s more pictures then explanations of why it works.

Tons of tips on a Technical aspect. Very down to earth. Worth reading, and testing by yourself. Thanks Carolyn Boroden

Honesty I felt like this book was a waste of money. A lot of the information on here you can find with a basic google search or a few youtube videos. Also, the explanation of the charts is just atrocious. The numbers are hard to follow and they are wayyyy to busy. They could have been done so much better.
So, I would not recommend this book. Youtube would do a better job at explaining fibonacci trading. I’ve watched multiple videos on youtube about fibonacci trading and there’s nothing on there that isn’t mentioned in this book. Save your money

This review is in response to some of the negative reviews about the applicability of this book.
There are many programs with a substantial number of fib tools available to reproduce Carolyn’s findings.
This is not a solicited response . I bought the dynamic trading platform well before I read BORODEN’s book.
Robert miner is a very smart man with tons of experience . As is Carolyn .
The cost of it all is a very low price for the education they can impart.

I have read about 100 trading books and have gone down some weird paths in trading. So I am pretty picky about trading books at this point. (most are terrible and will make you a worse trader and lose money in the market and on the book) This book is pretty good. I bought it in particular for the time projections and found it pretty simple and interesting. The Fib content here is very beginner friendly. What really bothered me was I never really got her explanation of what a cluster is. I am sure I can assume, but I would like to be sure what the writer considers it. The charts were hard to read and not very well explained. I want to be able to look at them and understand what the writer is trying to teach instantly. Not decode miniature numbers and do a puzzle. Not a big deal. But I want big block letters and arrows. Charts are personal items made by one person for themselves. You show someone else and they will have no clue what you are talking about.
But overall good book. I learned something so thats worth the price paid.
