Good info on level 2 etc. Seems to be covering only support resistance strategy. But there are other strategies to choose tradable stocks.

I didn’t feel I learnt much about how market makers operate. Of the many books I have bought about trading this was the worst in terms of value for money, in my opinion.

  4. Brandon Gallagher (verified owner)

    Excellent

  5. Tate Hobbs (verified owner)

I like the approach Mr. Pugliese takes when he’s explaining his style of working with the market.

If I knew how to beat the market makers at their own game, that’s what I’d be doing and making a ton of dough. I wouldn’t be wasting my time writing books. It’s so very hard to consistently make money trading. There are so many factors working against an individual’s success trading any market and the thousands of writers who have the “secret ” to vast riches and hawk their knowledge are really admitting that they can’t do it either. Much easier to write a book than to make a living trading.

Because I did not read the book and gave it credit only for the effort of writing it.
But in my opinion, after 20 years of trading, when you talk about level II and you want to go against the market makers and/or the specialists which they use level III is an absurd idea. When it comes to futures or stock trading the only thing that counts is what the market makers are doing, identifying them, especially the big ones, and try, if you can, to follow them. You, the retailer, are there only to help them push the market in the direction they want. The only thing you have to do is IDENTIFY which way they are positioning themselves and with how many contracts or shares. You can not go against the market makers using a level II system. Besides all this, remember: they have much more capital than you do to “resist”when the market goes against them. My two cents, go with the trend, THE TREND IS YOUR FRIEND, that’s how you beat them.
    Good luck !

  13. Ermias Abbott (verified owner)

It delivered as promised in regards to the market makers.

  14. Dangelo Calhoun (verified owner)

    A lot of details

  15. Elliott Tanner (verified owner)

Fausto as usual has done a masterful job. A great presentation. Focused on making money and hence from that point of view is very informative. Charts are not very clear. Could do a lot better.

  16. Roselyn Walter (verified owner)

Whether if you are a Day Trader or a Swing Trader, this book presents very practical and simple trading rules that really work. Fausto also offers you the opportunity of joining one of the most awesome trading chat rooms on the internet. This book is a worthwhile investment.

  17. Thalia Goodwin (verified owner)

    met expectations

  18. Milo Horne (verified owner)

I’ve been trading for few years. All trading systems you come up with can be thrown off balance by market makers. This book gave very valuable insights on how to play their game and get an edge.

  19. Kaison Walker (verified owner)

There is some good info i.e. Most limit orders will be winners. You want the stock price to come to you.

  20. Giavanna Peralta (verified owner)

You have been warned: it is the worst book on the topic I have read so far. It miserably fails to explain how to beat the market makers and only provides very very basic information. It shows how to find resistance and support levels and stops there. I would not recommend it to anyone with higher than a fifth grade education. The author spends most of the time “polishing the cannon ball” and doesn’t go to what really matters for beating the market makers. I wasted my money.

Places some serious light on Tape Reading, probably one of best books that I have ever read about trading. I received the book this morning and havent put it down yet, I am more than 1/2 way through the book and IF the rest is a bunch of garbage the beginning was amazing.

I am new to the trading world. I have read several books over the past year. I have touched on most investing and trading subjects. during my past studies, I learned a lot but I was not able to interconnect some of my studied concepts with each other. This book really did that job for me. Fausto has a very easy to understand way of writing. He really knows his work well, and does not leave any unanswered question in his book. He provided each section with good examples. I have read other books that had good explanation on the support and resistance concept but non of them used support and resistance in conjunction with LEVEL 2 VIEW. this is not a minor difference. this is a HUGE difference in concept. I am very happy with my purchase and thank Fausto for his great work on this book.

  23. Ahmed Montes (verified owner)

Very interesting book that shows how insiders trade short term for better profits.

  24. Lilian Gates (verified owner)

An extremely informative and well written book. Have been a long time investor and learned many things about the market of which I had no idea. The book is written in a way that makes it very easy to understand and comprehend. I wish I had read this book sooner and put the ideas into practice years ago. Would highly recommend this book.
