30 Days to Market Mastery outlines an easy-to-understand and easy-to-implement approach to learning how to trade. This book covers the fundamentals of how to structure trades in a disciplined fashion, so as to avoid vague decisions and acting on unclear trading signals. It also provides a number of strategies for entering and exiting the market in a way that maximizes the chances of making money and minimizes the potential for losing money. With this book as their guide, readers will learn the proper organizational, analytical, and behavioral skills that are vital to consistent success in trading. In 30 Days to Market Mastery each trading day contains a single lesson, and each lesson contains a quiz to help the reader master the material.
Introduction:
Financial markets throughout the world have changed their nature and structure dramatically since the 1970s. High-speed computers, pow-erful analytical software, the declining cost of commissions, instantaneous communications via the Internet, rapid dissemination of financially related news, business radio and television, the emergence of second- and third-world powers as significant financial and monetary forces, and the growing world dependence on fossil fuel have all combined in one grand “machine” to change the face of the markets.
Events that affect the Chinese currency can and will have a ripple effect on currencies and markets the world over. Stock prices can be influenced dramatically by trends in un-derlying commodity prices. Daily price volatility has exploded in virtually every sector of the financial markets. This has created more opportunity as well as more risk. It has also narrowed the differences between stock and commodity markets. Indeed, in recent years there has been a growing participation by hedge funds, pension funds, and investment companies in the commodity markets.
The search for effective and consistent trading information has taken traders in many directions, some productive, most of them dead ends. My goal in this course is to give you some solid tools that you can implement into your trading plan whether in stocks, commodities, or both. I have provided examples of my methods in stocks as well as in commodities. Some methods are exclusively geared to commodities; however, most are applicable to both.

This is definitely one book that any new trader should read and I really wish I had read this book 5 years ago when I started trading. Jake shows you how to effectively structure a trade and provides a number of methods for entering trades and when to take profits. Every trader should read about setups, triggers and follow through for each trade.
What else can I say, but you would be mad not to read this book.

It’s impossible to be a “Market Mastery” in only 30 days in honor to the title of this book. Don’t loose your time buying this book. Search for a real book in investments.

This book provides excellent clarity in finding potential trades, determining an appropriate entry and subsequently managing the trade. Momentum divergence is the main indicator and the methodology is clearly detailed in terms of the setup, the trigger and the follow through. Questions are included at the end of the chapters. It is not difficult to use the methodology on any charting software. The methods can be extended to utilize other similar indicators. Buying this book is a low risk proposition with major potential rewards.

The book explaines in a simple and a very accurate way what every trader really needs – working and fully backtested strategies!
If you need basic explanations about the markets and/or leverage/money management you should better start with other books. This books aims to give you working strategies which you could easily follow.
I must admit that I don’t like the name so much, but I guess that if you have some trading experience, you might do it in 30 days..
What I really like in the book is that it’s not just: “you should do it because I say so..”. Bernstein checks each strategy and give you all the ststistics involved, showing you that the strategy is a really working one.
I can easily compare it to another recent book “High Probability Trading Strategies” by Robert Miner that talks and talks with lots of stories but in all it’s 272 pages you won’t find even one working strategy with a proven backtest result…
Therefore, if you are just starting your trading career – you will better get this book with other books that start from scratch. If you have some basic knoeledge of the markets, this book is highly recommended.

I looked forward to Mr. Bernstein’s new book as he has prided himself in the past as doing cutting-edge research (his “The Compleat Day Trader I & II” are classics).
But this is mainly another rehash of material from his other books, and I got thru it in two sittings. Although, in fairness, people who are not familiar with his prior works, may find this offering more interesting than I did.
The best thing to be gleaned here is the methodology itself. The methodology is first a setup, then a trigger, then follow through. A setup is a seasonal correlation or momentum divergence, as examples. Then a trigger gets you in the trade, like a stochastics crossover. Follow through is simply money management. The money management ideas expressed here are not stellar and are put forth better in many other books.
This experience will remind me to use sacred traders “search” feature more thoroughly before buying in the future.

Excelent book for those who like to use methods in their trading. The divergencies method itself pay more than a hundred times this book.
