The Little Book of Big Profits from Small Stocks explains Kramer’s methodology and gives you the ability to analyze the opportunities to pick your own winners. In this fast-moving, valuable and perceptive book, Hilary Kramer shows readers how to find great undiscovered growth stocks. She has just the right message for turbulent times. Hilary Kramer’s Little Book is bound to have a big impact on your finances. It’s full of smart advice and real-life stock-picking stories about companies you know—Ford, Priceline, and Cabela’s among them.

Introduction:

Hilary is certainly no stranger to Wall Street and will be the first to tell you that she attributes much of her career success to investing in low-priced beaten-down stocks. And in reading this book, it’s clear her goal is to help you achieve similar success. If you come prepared, the stock market is a great place to build your wealth. Hilary puts extra emphasis on the if you come prepared part. These days, looking up investing tips and information on the web is as easy as powering up your PC and running a quick search. The trouble with doing so is that most of what you’ll find won’t actually help you succeed. In fact, much of what you’ll find can often do more harm than good, especially when it comes to advice about investing in small, low-priced stocks.

One of the first lessons you’ll learn in this little book is the significance of Wall Street’s herd instinct. When something excites or scares Wall Street, a stampede into or out of shares can overpower a stock. I’ve seen it firsthand, and can tell you that investing on the right side of that stampede can lead to incredible profits. Hilary will show you how Wall Street’s herd instinct is especially powerful in moving low-priced stocks. There’s no denying the impressive gains of the real-world stock stories she dispenses chapter after chapter. You can’t help but look at the stock chart of a company like Darling International with anything but admiration.

Of course, as anyone who has worked on Wall Street will tell you, investing in low-priced stocks takes know-how. What I like is that Hilary’s approach is honest and direct in not only making the case for these types of stocks, but also warning readers of the potential dangers to avoid. It’s evident that her approach is one of knowledge is power, as she goes to great lengths to arm readers with step-by-step instructions on how to hunt for those low-priced stocks that are poised to breakout. I think readers of this little book will find the chapter summaries and companion website particularly helpful.

And as a self-proclaimed technology geek, I must admit I found the interactive codes within this little book that readers with smartphones or tablets can scan for real-time stock recommendations unexpected and fun! Anyone looking for a thorough review of the dos and don’ts of investing in low-priced stocks should add this book to their investing library. This little book goes big when it comes to empowering you to find low-priced stocks worthy of your investment dollars.
