David Wilson
About the Author
David Wilson started his journalism career at the Asbury Park Press while in college. He worked weekends as an editorial assistant and summers as a pop-music writer. After reporting for a now-defunct New Jersey newspaper, Wilson went into business journalism by joining the Dow Jones News/Retrieval Service in 1982. He transferred in 1987 to the Dow Jones News Service, where he reported on stocks after a market crash.
Wilson moved to Bloomberg News in 1990, the news service’s first year. He began as a stock reporter and became a bureau chief in Princeton and New York. He later served as global training editor and managing editor for global stock markets, and had two stints as a columnist. In his current role as reporter-at-large, Wilson writes Chart of the Day stories for Bloomberg News and reports on stocks for Bloomberg Radio. The Visual Guide to Financial Markets is his first book.
