Laurence Holt is a private pilot and a fanatic on the science of learning. He wrote software that became part of Microsoft Outlook, founded an international consulting business and grew it to 300 people, and created the Stikky series while on sabbatical in Umbria, Italy. The series won the AEP’s Distinguished Achievement Award for Excellence in Educational Publishing.
