Max Heindel (born Carl Louis von Grasshoff, July 23, 1865 – January 6, 1919) was a Danish American Christian occultist, astrologer, and mystic.

Danish-American occultist who was a Christian disciple and a Theosophist for three years prior to founding the Rosicrucian Fellowship of the U.S., a non-profit corporation that he later moved to Oceanside, CA. With his wife, Augusta, he wrote “Astrology and the Ductless Glands,” 1916 “Astro-Diagnosis,” and “Message of the Stars”. His thinking had considerable influence on the astrological thinking of C.G. Jung.
