About the Author

Johannes Forthmann is a German economist with more than 25 years of experience in day trading. From 2001 to 2005 he was trained by US Veteran Trader Joe Ross. His columns for the most prominent German online financial platform regularly reached peak readership, and lectures followed. 

He later joined a Swiss futures trading house and helped develop hedging strategies for international clients. In 2020, he founded an EU educational book publishing company. This was followed by more books and the foundation of an online day trading academy.

VMO Trading consists of Johannes Forthmann and his English speaking MBA and web designer Evangeline Yrat. The company has no contacts to the so-called trading scene, does not appear for promotional purposes at trade shows, and does not engage in aggressive marketing on social media channels.
